OUR PHILOSOPHY:

The Alphabet Club's philosophy is based upon the recogniton  of the developmental nature of childrens growth. The entire professional care giver staff and curriculum consider what is developmentally appropriate for children at each age.

In pursuit of excellence in Early  Childhood  Education, The Alphabet Club maintains openness to new and successful educational practices to achieve an environment of cooperative learning through exploration and discovery.  The curriculum reflects this objective by offering opportunities for creative expression, constructive play, social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication, and physical development.  We encourage decision-making, risk-taking and responsibility.  The children are given the freedom to explore, experiment, and make choices through carefully supervised work and play.  Self-esteem and individuality are nurtured while providing children with a sense of belonging and acceptance.

Parents play a large part in our program. Parents are encouraged to take part in every aspect of their child's development.

 ABOUT US :

The Center was founded on the theories of the famous Swiss psychologist Jean Piaget, who is known for his studies of the learning process. Piaget once said, “Children have real understanding only of that which they invent themselves, and each time that we try to teach something too quickly, we keep them from reinventing it themselves”.

The Alphabet Club, a privately owned facility, began in 1992.

The center has grown into 13 Classroom areas comprising over 10,000 sq. feet of indoor space. A spacious fenced in outdoor area provides children with a variety of equipment to play with.
