Additional classroom activities are designed to support the educational objectives of the activities and allow children to utilize reading and writing skills throughout the summer. |
| Pre-K children also have the opportunity to participate in a summer program designed especially for them. Field trips are short and close to the center. Activities are chosen based on the developmental level and personality of the group. Story hour at the library, a trip to the fire station, an afternoon of dance, or Chuck-E-Cheese for lunch provide appropriate learning experiences and lots of fun. It is also a great transition to participation in School Age program activities. |
